Proconex develops and sells:

Special Purpose Network Interfaces for Distributed Control Systems. The Interfaces are used for Operator Training Systems, Foreign Device Connection and Data Acquisition.

Product Tracking Systems for the pulp and paper industry. Roll Tracking, Pulp Tracking and Raw Materials Acquisition are supported.

Control Systems for the pulp and paper industry and small to medium sized manufacturing plants.

Proconex was founded in 1985, and is located in Kirkland, (Montreal), Quebec, Canada. Proconex specializes in "Purpose-Built" industrial automation systems and has the skills to handle projects such as plant floor electro-mechanical devices, mill wide networks and Internet(Web) implementations.

NEW in November 2010...Our Real time Interface (SX008) now has an upgraded OPC server capability. This provides a direct connect to the LCN(Honeywell) for any compatible OPC client.

NEW in 2010...Our Real time Interface for the LCN(Honeywell) (SX008) is being applied to work with foreign DCS and Programmable Logic systems .

NEW in 2009...Our PcXSim Control Emulation and Interface for Experion(Honeywell) was developed. It includes the Experion interface, Control Emulation (C200/C300) and an OPC server link to process simulation engines.

NEW in 2008...Our Real time Interface for the LCN(Honeywell) (LCNSIM) is being applied in Experion upgrade projects (as an emulation of the LCN control modules). This allows off line checkout of HMI graphics and user interfaces prior to final real plant implementation, without the need for a large test bed of real controllers.

NEW in 2007...We are upgrading our LCNSIM(SX008) Interface to be ROHS compliant. We are developing a product based on Opto-22 SNAP PAC modules to connect Quality Control Scanners (paper machines) to DCS systems.

NEW in 2006...We developed an LCNSIM Interface (replacing the SX003NT) and a SX008 Interface (replacing the SX007). We added Ethernet support to our SX006 Interface. We added Web based real time modules to our Product Tracking System.

NEW in 2005...AspenTech terminated their Operator Training business (SX003NT). Proconex will continue to support the SX003NT. The SX007 was applied as a real time DCS interface. We added an integrated Trim Optimization function to our Product Tracking System.

French and foreign language versions of our products are available. Client station language is configurable according to Microsoft standards. Les applications de nos produits sont disponsible en Francais et eu langue etrangere. Le langage pour une "station client" est configurable selon les standards Microsoft.
